Acquired in December 2020, Oscar W. Larson became the founding member of OWL Services, helping establish the company’s national platform and contributing to its name.
Founded in 1946 by Oscar Larson, a former Shell employee, the company was built on a vision to better serve the petroleum industry. OWL’s acquisition united decades of trusted customer relationships, deep technical expertise and a strong Midwest presence to help expand fueling service capabilities nationwide. Today, that legacy continues through a commitment to customer-focused solutions, while long-standing partnerships, including Dover® Fueling Systems, remain central to delivering high-quality service across the country.
The former Oscar W. Larson Co.’s region of service is now referred to as OWL Midwest and covers the states of Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio, with small portions of service in Western New York, Western Pennsylvania and Northwest West Virginia.
